Who We Are?
Pakistan Agriculture & Horticulture Forum (PAHF) is a non-profit organization registered and licensed under section 42 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Companies Act 2017.
PAHF consists of Experts & Stakeholders from Agriculture & Horticulture Sectors, These dedicated leaders belongs from different professions e.g. Exporters, Importers, Growers, Traders, Academia, Scientists, Researchers, Ex Officers who volunteer countless hours of their time, wisdom, and vision for the future of our beloved country.
PAHF is a platform that supports for a stronger agricultural and horticultural industry in Pakistan to strengthen research and development activities at the national and international levels.
PAHF is standing with the stakeholders from business to the avenues of policymakers and to deal with cross-cutting themes of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We sensitize all the stakeholders and policymakers for the awareness of the following issues:
- Agricultural & Horticultural Technological & Career issues
- Agricultural & Horticultural Economy & Trade issues
- Agricultural & Horticultural Policy issues
- Food Safety issues
- Biotechnology issues
- Building up policy dialogues, linkages, partnerships, and collaboration between agricultural & horticultural growers and governing bodies.
Founder of PAHF
Mr. Shahjahan is an eminent and renowned businessman with a kind-hearted philanthropist heart. He is the founder of the Pakistan Agriculture & Horticulture Forum (PAHF). He has devoted his life to the welfare of humanity and legal rights for the business community. He is Patron of Fruits & Vegetables Wholesale Market Karachi since last 45 years and currently serving as head of the fraternity.
He is assumed to be among the top-notch exporters of the agriculture & horticulture sector in Pakistan. He has been serving as a member and policy maker for various Advisory Board & Standing Committees on Agricultural sectors to the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan.
He led numerous trade associations and charity organizations with highly professional acumen. He is an active civil society member for the promotion & protection of human rights, peace building, and democratic rights of the masses in Pakistan.
Furthermore, he applied sports as a tool for youth activism and to mainstream them for the leadership role to lead Pakistan in the future. He always takes a personal interest in games and even plays himself. Due to his love for sports, he developed an exclusive sports stadium in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town and an administrative committee where the young people are trained for cricket, hockey, football, tennis and table tennis, basketball, skating, futsal etc.
His wit and wisdom defined his clear vision. His charismatic and transformational leadership style developed the trust of the business fraternities, folks, and governments.
His strong commitment to making Pakistan strong at every front of life in the world best practices such as values, ethics, and standards, setting long-term goals, and holding an open discussion forum and engaging all the stakeholders including farmers, growers, traders, government administration and policymakers.
